This remedial project by Inside Design encompassed a full structural strengthening and timber remediation. Having stood for more than 100 years this grand old lady was in need of a full upgrade.

Remediation is always complex, fascinating and rewarding. And this couldn’t be more true for this assignment.

This heritage complex of seven apartments on a busy inner city route, was a very tight site in a high traffic zone, where site, public and resident safety was paramount.

Seven passionate owners all with very different needs and strategy, some keen just to address what was important others taking this once in a life-time opportunity to make a few bigger changes, modernising their space and making them more functional for today’s living.

We’re proud to have been part of this wonderful piece of History and ensuring this grand and “good as new” old lady will be around for another 100 years.
