This Novak and Middleton design nestles into a North Wellington hillside celebrating panoramic views of Wellington Harbour.

An exposed site meant the infamous Wellington winds determined the bracing requirements for this home with steel portals and solid timber construction.

The cedar cladding is warm and inviting, with a lovely sheltered and private entrance over a boardwalk to the front door. The interior with its picture windows making the best of the daylight that dances across the high ceilings and exposed beams and smooth interior surfaces draw your eyes to the quality finish.

This is a well-formed and functional home, we worked closely with the architect and owner in producing the final detailing to their specifications to ensure a truly quality finish without compromising the build cost and timeframe.  

The home stands as beautiful today as it did more than 12 years ago when we built it.
